A BIG THANK YOU!

I would like to thank all my customers that have purchased snowcandles this year. I have heard wonderful comments on their beauty and how they burn "forever". I am proud to have so many returning customers that want to enjoy snowcandles through their holidays and to share with their friends and family.
I have added one last weekend to my season by joining the Cocoa Lattes Coffee Company in North Vancouver for their 2nd Annual Christmas Craft Fair. Come by for some great coffee and to pick up some handmade gifts.
See you there - Saturday and Sunday - December 11- 13
644 Queensbury Avenue (south of Grand Blvd).

I have so many customers coming by throughout the month of December and I'm trying to put it all into one afternoon. We'll see how it goes.
Snowcandles will be available to purchase for your holiday gift giving.
I may have time to get into some holiday baking and have the coffee on.
Hope to see you on Saturday!

A successful day! I am so proud to have Snowcandles be a part of your holiday season. May you enjoy your friends and family this Christmas and I look forward to having my open house for you to attend next year in 2010.

If it doesn't say The Original Snow Candle Company - its not my snowcandle!!

Well- I'm 2 weeks into my selling season and I have been busy.
Sullivan Hall was a nice experience, I purchased an awesome handmade metal picture that I will be giving as a gift this Christmas.
I had a couple people ask if I had my snowcandles at Huckleberry Farms in Surrey. I DO NOT and they are Imposters!!! It has finally happened after 12 years in the industry that someone has taken up the challenge of trying to duplicate my product. They will not survive since my snowcandles are quite popular and people will figure it out. I would find it hard to believe that they burn like my snowcandles. So- lets all be aware of these candles- if it isn't labelled on the bottom with "The Original Snow Candle Company" it isn't my product and you may be disappointed.
On Sunday- November 22 you will find me in North Vancouver for the 23rd annual Christmas craft fair at Delbrook Community Centre and on November 28 I am at Dunbar Community Centre in Vancouver (save your money for that one - it has great artisans and crafters for everyone!) You will find Snowcandles in room 208 as you make your way through the fair with your passport. Have Fun!

**UPDATE**

I have visited Huckleberry Farms and the snowcandles that are being sold in that craft show are no where near the quality that I handcraft.
Customers of The Original Snow Candle Company would know that these snowcandles are not the original.
My taper snowcandles are a specialty so if I am not at the show selling them myself they are not made from The Original Snow Candle Company.
I am proud of my product. I handcraft each one individually and sell them with confidence that you will truly enjoy them through your holidays.

The Holiday Season has begun! I have visited the Lions Gate Hospital already this month and love when I set up my table three days after Halloween and over hear the comments of Christmas already. It starts everyones thinking of their holiday shopping.

This Sunday is the St. Thomas Aquinas Craft Fair which is one of my favorites. Forecast is rain so bring your umbrella since its North Vancouver. So many great artisans and your sure to find a unique handmade Christmas gift.

My schedule for attending Ridge Meadows Hospital has changed. I am going this Thursday- November 12. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have brought you and remember I am only doing Ridge Meadows Vendor Program once this year.
I'm looking forward to November 14 when I will attend the 3rd annual Creative Finds Marketplace. Located at historic Sullivan Hall in Surrey you'll find great jewelery, artwork and of course- Snowcandles.

We'll move onto the end of the month with Delbrook Community Centre's 23rd annual. I have been attending it for over ten years and all my customers know I am a Sunday vendor. Come both days as vendors change.

That's it for November and I'll keep you posted!
Keep your fingers crossed it doesn't snow too early.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has come quickly.
I am getting very busy juggling everything but wouldn't give it up for a minute.
I sure have cut back on the many craft fairs I use to do but have booked into my favorites that I have been involved with for years.
I can't believe after my turkey dinner this weekend I'll be pulling out my Christmas decorations to get organized for my season.
"I just may decorate my house early"- "You only live once- what's the harm?" Anyways, I wait all year for this so I will embrace every minute!!
Have a great long weekend and eat alot!!

September 2009

Summer is over- can you believe it?

I had a very busy summer since I was in Saskatoon for two months.

It was great to be with my granddaughter Hannah. The highlight was Jessica and Craig's wedding on September 5.

Now I am getting back into my routine of work, school and making candles for this holiday season. I am disappointed to not be a part of Circle Craft this year but found it to be too difficult to juggle my school work and all my shows. I am hoping everyone held onto my business card to be able to make an easy connection to my website and email me with their order.

Summer 2009

Well I must admit I haven't been that up to date on my Blog. I have decided its not really my kind of thing. But to try to keep all of you in the know I am going to try to keep this going. September is almost here and this is the time of year I start to get excited for the winter season to come. I have had alot of interest in my snowcandles throughout the summer. I have been exploring the wedding industry and since I have done a few weddings to date I think they will be a part of many more.

I have decided I will be holding an OPEN HOUSE closer to Christmas so please check in for the date to be announced!

I'll check back in September to update my craft fair list since I still have dates pending in the Vancouver area.

Have a great summer!

Well- where did March go?
I knew this blog was going to be a challenge to keep up with. Since its not candle season for me I have nothing to update since I am only working on new leads for craft fairs and home shows this time of year.
I do have other things on the go since I have been back to school. I am really enjoying it and await great things to come because of it.
Have a great April. I love this time of year with all the trees blooming, spring flowers. You will be able to find me walking Mattie at White Rock beach on the days there is sunshine.

February- Love Is In The Air!

Where did January go?

As you can see my calendar is starting to take shape for the fall.
I have most of my hospital bookings in place. I will add my craft fairs as soon as I learn of my acceptance. I have made the decision not to return this year to Circle Craft. Though it was an amazing show for me, returning to school and doing that particular show was difficult in juggling my schedule and all my assignments. It would just be easy to do the weekend craft fairs that I really LOVE to do.
I am working on adding paypal onto my website so that will maybe help you in ordering snowcandles for people on your Christmas list!

Stay tuned for more.
